Este artículo intenta prolongar la tarea genealógica de Foucault, aplicándola al discurso de la Crítica y Teoría literarias. Tomando por guía el esquema de Jakobson (mensaje, emisor, receptor, contexto, canal y código), se definen diversas vías disciplinarias a través de las cuales la voluntad de saber actúa sobre el discurso literarios: tal intervención reduce el carácter azaroso del discurso artístico al descubrirle el orden que lo fundamenta y explica. Esta genealogía apuesta por una nueva <> que, como percepción estética, respete la obra en su singularidad y permita restituir al discurso su carácter de acontecimiento.
